How do I create a student account and use it to login to Brilliant.org?

Edited

Teachers are instructed to create two accounts — An Educator account at educator.brilliant.org and a Student account at brilliant.org.

Why do I need a student account?

Your Educator account grants you access to the suite of classroom tools at educator.brilliant.org, including the ability to add students to classes. However, only student accounts grant access to Brilliant's lessons or courses — your Educator account isn't enough. This is why you MUST also create a student account for yourself. Once created, you will be able to log in to brilliant.org and view all of the lessons + courses, just like your students.

In summary: You must set up a Brilliant.org student account in order to view Brilliant’s content. Only users with student accounts can explore the courses and lessons - make sure not to skip this step!

How do I set up my student account?

Go to educator.brilliant.org/lessons and click "preview" on any course or lesson. If you have a Student account already set up, you will be directed to Brilliant.org to view the content. If you do not have one set up yet, you will be prompted to set one up before proceeding.
